Preparing to Hire a Moving and Storage Company

Welcome to my website. My name is Jan Franklin. Up until recently, my husband and I lived in a large five bedroom home. All our children are grown, some with families of their own. It seemed silly to continue living in the big house, but I was emotionally attached to the house and all that was in it. My husband was ready to sell and downsize; I took awhile to come around to that decision. Once we did put our home on the market, we were fortunate in that it sold in less than a month. Things were happening quickly, and we had to make more decisions like what to move to our new smaller home, what to get rid of, and what we wanted to put in storage. I’m going to share our experience with you, and about how convenient it was hiring a moving and storage company.
